FCC approves sweeping Internet regulation plan, Obama accused of meddling
The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday adopted sweeping new regulations sought by President Obama for how Americans use and do business on the Internet, in a party-line vote that is sure to be challenged by the broadband industry.
The commission, following a contentious meeting, voted 3-2 to adopt its so-called net neutrality plan -- a proposal that remained secret in the run-up to the final vote.

The reality is, it is going to raise access costs. slow down the Internet for everybody, and regulate the Internet like AT&T
Provider will now have to meet "public interest" criteria when they provide service to your home or office. This is a blatant power grab by the Obama administration that represents an unvoted-on tax increase to every Internet customer, and gives the administration the ability to limit access to Internet resources.
Millennials, you oughta be horsewhipped for supporting this nonsense. You didn't have a clue what you were asking for, you still don't know what you got, but by golly, you got it now, so you're gonna have to live with it -- unless you want to join the rest of us in lobbying Congress to overturn this power grab and threat to free speech..
