Dear family in Christ,

My son has a friend who goes to church...
but is constantly hurting himself through his own actions.
I felt God wanted me to talk to him.
So I did...he became very quiet and almost in tears.
I hope that God uses our conversation to make this young man (20yrs)
rise up and become a stronger person.
May he learn healthy boundries and gain wisdom, insight and understanding.

People take advantage of his giving and caring heart.
It pains me to see this happening to him over and over.
He wonders why people don't respect him,
I told him he needs to respect himself first.

Please pray as God moves your heart.

To say this in no way means our great lord cannot do anything without our help... this is not what I'm about to say.. yet thru your willing heart to reach out to this young man, our lord in all his wisdom, miracles & mercy can & will guide your words, compassion, & even the time & days of your meeting up again with this hurting young man, so that when you meet again or we all pray, all the lord has for him will be done in perfectioniOur lord is great, wounderous, & eventfully planed for the purpose of doing our Abbas will. May God add to your fruits by being such a willing servant & for both seeing & reaching out for this young man, hope I may also live up to this calling, by also adding my prayers.

I lift your friend up in prayer to our Lord and I ask that our Lord fill him up with his strength and the sense of purpose that the Lord has for this young man's life, I pray and ask on Jesus name, amen.

There is a slowly healing tender spot in my heart for this young man. It sounds a lot like me. I will pray tonight for him in the most selfless prayer I can possibly give to God. Not because I want God to save just me, but because I have suffered and caused suffering the same as the young man that you are describing has. I pray to God even now that when I pray tonight that He hears me loud and clear. I pray that I may be a voice that is truly heard, for I have passed much judgement on myself in this matter. And I will pray that help finds this young man in the best ways possible, like it has me. Sincerely, Mike
