I just found this forum today after looking for somebody, to tell my story to and hopefully get others to pray. We have been married for just over 24 years. Over the past several years, my husband has become very close to several men in the neighborhood. They hang out and help each other with projects, etc. They also drink beer. Now, I don't have a problem with the beer in moderation, but it's getting out of control. My husband has become drunk multiple times and the last 2 times he came home drunk, he picked a fight with me and HE HIT ME! I've always said I will not be abused and will not stay in a marriage where I am hit. After the first time, I went to our pastor. I demanded an apology and things have been great. Then Saturday happened. He had too much to drink at a wedding and he hit me again. I don't want to give up on 24 years of marriage but I am worth more than this. I'm afraid he has unleashed a locomotive that is going to be nearly impossible to stop. Please pray for God to intercede and guide this marriage.
