Where have we seen this before? ...

Public University Banned Students From ‘Treating Individuals Differently’ | National Review Online

Treat your girlfriend just like you’d treat a stranger! Until scrutiny prompted a policy change just a few days ago, Washington State University had banned its students from “treating individuals differently” or engaging in “uninvited correspondence and communication.” Taken literally, this would mean that you would have to treat every single person exactly the same — that is, you couldn’t act differently toward your best friend or even significant other than you do toward a total stranger — or else you’d be guilty of harassment.

That would be an interesting concept in my neck of the
woods.

In yorkshire most people call each other love, even complete strangers.
So conversation at bus stop for example - complete stranger walks up to
you and asks "do you know when the next bus is love?"

Even many men call each other love!

But then poo further down the road to Barnsley and everyone calls each
other duck, hello duck, how are ya mi duck!

In Scotland the commen greeting is hen (sort of slang for hon or honey).

imagine the combination of all three
"hello hen,
pass me the newspaper love,
here you are duck"

So, I have to treat my daughter the same as I would treat the guy trying to kill me?

Ya just gotta love these socialist liberal antichrist Educators.......

To make it more towards a Student at University....female student raped at Frat party.........

So, I have to treat the person who raped me just like I would treat my best friend?

yea, I was a bit surprised when I went shopping for the first time and the lady behind the counter called me love.
It's sweet :)

about that campus: Maybe I should treat everyone like the friend who knows me best? I'd scare everyone away from the place :D

So we have to give courteous drivers on campus that same finger salute we give disrespectful drivers?

That reminds me of 3rd grade, when they wouldn't let us give out birthday invitations in class without giving everybody one. Of course, I did it anyway lol...
