Jesus Warns against Temptation
"What sorrow awaits the world, because it tempts people to sin. Temptations are inevitable, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting. So if your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It's better to enter eternal life with only one hand or one foot than to be thrown into eternal fire with both of your hands or feet. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It's better to enter eternal life with only one eye than to have both eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.*
*Greek the Gehenna of fire.
I think this explains eveything that I'm trying to say! Pray and resist from temptation! God bless u! ;)

That's really true Enagoguette...The bible sometimes has some very hard truths, but they are truths and it's not a dream world that we live in but a world of ignorance, hate and sin. We are weak and we sometimes forget what's the right thing to do because we are surrounded by this world but what matters, is: will we realise what we did afterwards? will we repent and pray to God to give us strength to resist those temptations? Don't be ashamed to talk to god if you've done something bad...because this way, it will get worse. However, ask god for forgiveness, strengh and guidance. :D God bless you all and pray for the people who search for God and need help :D. And never hesitate to talk about God whenever you get the chance because that's what God has sent us to do :)

he doesn't mean to literally cut off your hand, or foot. Or to gouge your eyes :p. its an example of Jesus' metaphoric teaching style. just making sure you know that before you go lopping off any limbs ;)

Yeah Parker I agree with you, haha! We live in a world where sin is the norm and as followers we need to resist temptation! :D
