It's a lot of History . I would look only for credible Christian sources ,to learn the history...
From my understanding they where many manuscripts, and they where not kept in any one church. Other then Christians had control of them from the very beginning . Later many copies where made and spread throughout the world. When you bring these copies together what they find is they are all the same, aside from minor slips of the pen . There is a lot of history just don't stumble and take the word of non-Christians . I'll work on getting some info .
