Hello. I was just trying to figure out what Rep power on our profile means. Is that a bad thing?

nope, not bad.
It has to do with your ability to give out "reputation". You give reputation (rep points) to a post you particularly like. (anonymously, unlike the "Like" button). To give rep, click the star at the lower, left corner of a post. You can add a comment or leave it blank.

oh my how informative. I used to think rep power was linked to the number of blog entries or posts...before, I had no idea what that little star was for, just from trying it...
thank you...

The full understanding of Rep is unknown, even to Mods. You will find different users will have different answers. And even mods will have different answers.
