The holy spirit came to me
Through the wind and every tree
It is true I do believe
And it doesn't matter what you see
Can't you see what it means to me
What it really means to me
I've been down and I've been out
Now it's all been turned about
I have torn it all apart

I have no shame in my past
I don't let it hold me back
Every breath of destiny
Takes me further from all that
I am just a lonely man
Living with the perfect plan
And if I go from town to town
I'm ok with that
I am just ok with that

I care for what I love
And I love for what I care
Is it really just a chair
Or a place to lay my head
And if you want to stare
Well I don't really care
My heart has had enough
Go on and act real tough
Because the pain that you have caused
Is not mine to implore
And unless you want to stop
I won't cause a fuss
I am here to stay
God knows I won't stray
I have no choice anyway

I haven't really had enough
What is the point in that
You think I've given up
That's not true I am no fool

Maybe I should write a book
Then you'll see that you're the crook
I'm not ok that way
But I'll love you anyway
I love you anyway ....

When my eyes turn grey
All your troubles will float away
To me that's a big reward
I have struck you with my chord
I can't sing but I can dance
I am full of the lords romance
