I came from a world of darkness
Light had not been seen before.
satan ruled and brought disaster
with his lies and bitter wars.
over and over I could hear a whisper
but I could not heed the call.
satan snatched the memory from me
oh how he wants to watch me fall.
Storms arose and thunder pounded
my heart and thoughts were filled with sin.
I gave up hope, life's not worth living
Satan had me fooled back then.
But then I heard a gentle whisper
and eyes of love gazing back at me.
It was the face of my dear Savior
being shown by one set free.
Thank you Jesus for calling me
and giving me new life within.
My heart's now yours and satan loses
Show your face through me to them.
