This is a tasty way to have sausages and a twist on bangers and mash.

Fry on medium high heat 4 to 6 pork/beef/veal/turkey sausages in 1 tablespoon of oil until dark brown on each side. Add water to 3/4 of the pan almost covering the sausages. Stir in a half a (small) can of tomato paste. Add one teaspoon of Vegeta seasoning (can be found in European markets if not in your supermarket's seasoning section). Reduce medium low heat and let simmer uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes until sauce thickens. The sauce goes great with mashed potatoes and your choice of vegetable.

Just wanted to say if you don't have or can't find Vegeta seasoning, you can use a plain chicken broth seasoning though Vegeta is better.
