5 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
[SUP]3 [/SUP]“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

All these verses stand out and it is what Christ said in each one SHALL BE FILLED DONE!!!! so it had to be upcoming?
Now this was before the death , burial, and resurrection of Christ, So do you think that Christ was talking about him going to the cross dieing, dead for three days and then rising back to life, and by this we are filled it is done, we are today under a new covenant Hebrews 9:15-17 for those that believe but the problem might be that we have been taught all our lives to work that we just can't go that far in belief that God did it all for us when it comes to salvation I wonder how about you? Is this why it is so hard to die to self and believe God to the fullest extend of salvation that it is all God and none of ourselves. Do we just have to be a part of bringing in this gift of life that is already available before any of us were born? A free gift is a gift is it not? What work is involved for the reciever of the gift? If work is involved of self effort for the receiver of a gift then it is not a gift is it?
Now when one appreciates a gift given to them how does one respond? the Gift given is God's LOVE as in 1 Cor.13, so do we hide this miraculous gift or do we let it abound in us and through us onto everyone else whether they believe it or not
Thank you in advance for any responses you might have.
