I'm off to Bolivia, South America soon with a couple of folks from my church, and our team was discussing doing a drama item that will be effective in communicating the Gospel to an audience who (majority speaking) don't speak English.

I was thinking the best way to do this would be through either dance or mime (with music), but I can't seem to find many resources on the internet for preparing either of these things. I'm guessing a lot of groups who have done things like this, must write a script themselves?

I'm thinking a mime (so no talking) with some backing music will be most effective, as then we won't run into language barrier issues (and also our team aren't really dancers). But I haven't really found any Gospel mime presentations/resources online. Eg a guide script and some music.

Any idea how to best approach this?

Cheers!

Bring an interpreter? ....

No matter how well you act, you can't fully explain a long text without words.
It would be like acting Shakespeare without talking
