If you don't know to ask Father for His blessings, you may be missing out. Many believe all you have to do is ask Father for a new car, and somewhere in the Bible it must say He will provide them with a new car. Unfortunately, that is not the way it works. God blesses those that work for Him and follow His instructions. We are going to qualify what we may ask for and what we must do to receive God's blessings in this lecture. Let's open our Bibles to Deuteronomy.

DEUTERONOMY 11:7 But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which He did.

The children of Israel had seen God part the Red Sea. God provided them with water and manna in the wilderness. He has done the same for you. Father has given you the living water and bread of life.

DEUTERONOMY 11:8 Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it.

What must we do to be strong? Obey His commandments. At the time of this writing, God was referring to the possession of the promise land. I believe God also provided a promise land for His lost children, North America.

DEUTERONOMY 11:9 And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

For the most part, there is no reason for anyone to be hungry for physical food in our great nation. There is a famine in this land. The famine is that which is written of in Amos 8, a famine for hearing the Word of God.

DEUTERONOMY 11:10-11 For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowest thy seed, and watereth it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs. (11) But the land whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven.

These verses have a two-fold meaning. Physically, the children of Israel irrigated from the Nile River in Egypt and in the promise land only the rain of heaven would water their crops. Spiritually, the children of Israel would be watered with the rain of heaven, God's Word.

DEUTERONOMY 11:12 A land which the LORD thy God careth for : the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

We do not have a seasonal God. Are you a seasonal servant?

DEUTERONOMY 11:13-14 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently to my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, (14) That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

There is a condition set forth to receive God's blessings. Read verse thirteen again, if you missed the condition. Again, we have a physical and a spiritual meaning concerning the first rain and the latter rain. Physically, the first rain prepares the ground for the seeds to germinate and the latter rain allows the mature plant to produce fruit. Spiritually, the first rain may be thought of as a person finding salvation and becoming a Christian. The latter rain is a blessing that comes from the study of God's Word with understanding which allows a Christian to mature and produce spiritual fruit.

DEUTERONOMY 11:15-16 And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. (16) Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

The word "heart" may also be translated "mind". There is one coming soon that would like to deceive you and wants nothing more than for you to worship him. Antichrist will turn many away from God. How may you prevent this? We have already read how to be strong and receive His blessings. Follow His commandments, love the Lord your God, and serve Him with all your heart and soul.

DEUTERONOMY 11:17-18 And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and He shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD hath given you. (18) Therefore shall ye lay up these My words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

There is another sign, or mark, you may receive in your hand in the Book of Revelation. It is the mark of the beast. What do you do with your hands? You work. Seal God's words in your mind and work for Him, not the beast which is antichrist.

DEUTERONOMY 11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

When you love the Lord, you want to commune with Him throughout the day. This does not mean you must become a religious fanatic: it does mean you should be a full-time Christian.

DEUTERONOMY 11:20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates.

Those that visit your home should see and feel the rich Christian heritage that resides there.

DEUTERONOMY 11:21-23 That your days be multiplied and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. (23) For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave unto Him; (23) Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.

There are no giants left in this world. There is a greater nation than the United States coming. It will be ruled by the King of kings and the Lord of lords. There will be only one Kingdom. Make sure your name is written in the book of Revelation 21 that allows you to be a part of that Kingdom.

DEUTERONOMY 11:24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.

In Ezekiel 44, God said to give the Zadok no inheritance. Why?
He is their inheritance and He owns everything.

DEUTERONOMY 11: 25-26 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as He hath said unto you. (26) Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse.

Wait one minute. How can something be a blessing and a curse?

DEUTERONOMY 11:27-28 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: (28) And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

The word "if" has two letters; however it can be a mighty big word. You in this generation have an important choice to make. You may receive God's blessings by obeying His commandments, or you may go chasing after other gods, antichrist, and be cursed. Remember, you must know God's commandments by studying His Word before you can obey His commandments. That, my friends, is how you receive blessings. We have a jealous God, Exodus 34:14 states His name is Jealous.

Show Father you love Him by serving Him. Let's turn to the Minor Prophets.

ZECHARIAH 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain, so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

When we become qualified to receive His blessings by following His instructions, we must then ask for the blessings.

Ask for the latter rain which will allow you to mature as a Christian and produce fruit. Other blessings will be added by Father. Your earthly father and mother can't ask for you. Your brothers and sisters can't ask for you. You must ask. Why?

Let's turn to Mark in conclusion and allow Christ's teaching to answer the question.

MARK 11:20-21 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. (21) And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto Him, "Master, behold, the fig tree which Thou cursedst is withered away."

Remember, you have a choice. You may choose the blessing or you may choose the curse. Do not choose the curse as the evil Kenites symbolized by the fig tree did.

MARK 11:22-23 And Jesus answering saith unto them, "Have faith in God. (23) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, 'Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea', and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

What mountain was Christ talking about? Focus on the subject. He was talking about the evil portion of the Kenite nation symbolized by the withered fig tree. "Mountain" may be translated "nation".
Spurious messiah will rule the one world order with the assistance of the evil Kenites. Just as He cursed the fig tree, Jesus will destroy antichrist and his system based on lies.

Did the last verse state that if you ask for a new car, God will give it to you? No, the scripture states that if you have no doubt in your mind, God will give you what you ask for to accomplish His plan.
You must qualify yourself to receive God's blessings by doing His work. You must ask for God's blessings. He wants you to ask for His blessings as a demonstration of your faith in Him. If your faith is a reality, you have no doubt in your mind. Ask!

In His Service,
Arnold Murray
