Gay Israeli party promoter sparks outrage with ISIS parody posters.
Posters for a gay club night in Tel Aviv caused widespread anger after it showed scantily clad men imitating the Islamic State beheadings of David Haines, James Foley and Steven Sotloff.
One such picture shows muscular man kneeling in an orange toga with a man in a similarly revealing black wrap standing behind him with a hand on his neck.
To add to the controversial nature of the image a black flag is positioned in the top left corner with Arabic text banner appearing at the bottom
Another image showed a man in tight swimming trunks holding aloft a black flag in a desert scene.
These posters were released on the Facebook page of Dreck which hosts club nights all over the Israeli capital.
One commenter said of the images: ‘Disgusting! Getting a laugh off of the murder of innocent victims.’
In response to heavy criticism, the co-founder of Dreck Promotions, Amiri Kalman told Ynet News: ‘We reject violence in any form and that includes the videos intended to scare the world.This is satire, and our way of showing our contempt of them and their videos.’
