My dear sister,
You are valuable. And you are not valuable because of what you get from other people but you are valuable because of who Jesus is! So it’s time to give your heart to Jesus. When you give your heart to Jesus, and when you give your time to the things of the Lord, when you give to other people–your life is changed and it makes a difference in those around you. “When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.” - Pr 31:26
While it hurts when people don’t treat you right, and when others are not kind to you, there is so much value when you allow God to move in you and still be kind! People will look at you and they will know that something is different, even when it comes to the godly intentional relationship that God has for you. Even when it comes to your conversations with your friends when your coworkers or family members, kindness is a fruit of the spirit, and it matters, and kindness makes a difference when it comes to your friendships and communication with other women.
Far too many women don’t feel beautiful. Far too many women feel like people won’t take them seriously until they get in a relationship, or until they have kids, get a certain job, etc. No matter where you go throughout the day you are running into people who are broken and as women, we especially have a reputation of tearing each other down. As women who follow Christ, we can be agents of change in this matter.
So let’s go out of our way to show the world that not all women talk about each other behind their backs or are constantly in competition for the attention of other guys! We are all worth SO much more than that and we have to continuously encourage one another that through Christ, we can make a difference through our kindness!
