According to Jesus, he said sodom and gorromahh will be shown mercy on the day of judgement because if the seen the miracles he did they would have repented.. So with that said where are they and when we die do we sleep till he come or what do you think. Plz don't flood with scriptures we ALL know what the bible say lol

Well if everybody knows what the bible says, why don't you give us your opinion and enlighten us.

And since you already know what the bible says, please use scripture in your opinion...
for those of us who don't know as much as you.

It is clear, from your post, that you already have an opinion.

Why don't you start by sharing your own opinion.
Wouldn't that be the most honest thing to do on a Christian forum?

No one sleeps anytime; when we die. Sleep is just a Figure of speech ; for some one that passes away. A ""Euphemism"" : John 11:11-14. If you want more scriptures to document that fact, there are many.

Those people when they died returned to God as written: to either side of that gulf. Pass that I'm not sure what became of them because; that would be a judgment call.

What I do know; is the lake of fire; dose not come into existence until at the end of the Lord's day ( Christ return Revelation 20. ).

Yes I do have a opinion, but I wanted to know others and see what they think. If I knew where they where at I would have enlighten you already. But I only enlighten when I know truth has been established .... To me they could be hell and when judgment come they transition the the lake of fire or they could be sleep waiting for judgment day. I don't know. Soo I would like to hear what you guys think.

Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Don't chicken out. Leave yourself open for disagreement, rather than testing others for a disagreement from you. You started it, you are then obligated to lead. Spoken with due respect.

If you will go to scripture to compare everything scripture says as it talks about the kind of death we experience on earth, you will see that there is a difference in how it speaks of it before the resurrection and after. After the resurrection it never speaks of death as sleep. Also, if you go to what happened at the resurrection, you will find that it also made a difference in how OT saints were treated at that time. After the resurrection, death is never referred to as sleep any more.

They went where the rich man went

Luk 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
Luk 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
Luk 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
Luk 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luk 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Luk 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
Luk 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Luk 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
Luk 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Luk 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
Luk 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
Luk 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
