I was thinking about spiritual blindness.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matt 6:14-15
Now forgiving people is hard, but also wisdom is required. You can forgive an individual about the harm done to you personally, but they are not forgiven for the unrepentant sin in their heart. They are also a danger to others.
Now it is easy to say something like, yes forgiveness is what we need to do, but we will never be able to forgive everyone for everything. But the answer to this is, when we are aware about it, yes we can.
What so often happens is we deceive ourselves and hide that lack of forgiveness and still hold things against others.
So when we talk about forgiveness, this do not bother too much pops out, and we do not even notice.
So we need to guard our souls, and keep them clean, on the inside and outside.
We never arrive where it is automatic, we have to work at it and dwell in the Spirit and in Christ, every day, every hour, every moment.
Now some will call this working for salvation. It is actually working ones salvation out in ones life. To not do this is to deny you are saved, or there is value in being clean. It is like saying you believe is toilets and clean water but not use them or ever wash and cleanse yourself.
We are called to be pure, not just some of us, all of us.
To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be his holy people

Eph 1:4
In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
Eph 2:21
For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
1 Thess 4:7
He has saved us and called us to a holy life
2 Tim 1:9
Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.
Titus 1:8
