"The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons." 1 Timothy 4:1

You may or may not be aware of this - but in certain church circles demonic spirits manifest in people during church services. Kundalini is one of those spirits - the serpent spirit. You see people jolting their neck uncontrollably, sometimes its a jolt in their spine, you see the identical spirit working with Hindu's. Other times the spirit of Baachus is at work - the spirit of drunkenness. Sometimes these spirits are imparted through the laying on of hands.

Did you know that the Apostle John wrote that we must test spirits, and spiritual experiences? He said;

"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1

If you see a Christian behaving drunk and claiming its God - don't believe them at face value just because they are having a spiritual experience. Look at the fruit a spirit manifests. Does it align with the fruit of the Holy Spirit?
"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control" Galatians 5:22

Self-control is a big one that is usually lacking.

God doesn't violate his own character. The gift of spiritual discernment is needed in the last days because Satan has an agenda to cause people to abandon the faith and to follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Ask God for that gift! It's desperately needed!

1 John 4:2 ,"By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;"

1 John (Yahchanan) 4:2 ,"By this you know the Spirit of Yahweh: every spirit that confesses that Yahshua the Messiah has come in the flesh is from Yahweh;"

Many are falling for false spirits because God's Word is not dwelling in them. They want to walk by feelings/intuition and are devoid of His Word.

A few years ago I watched a video of a mega church and the "pastor" laid hands on the guy and he started acting like a dog.

Everybody just laughed...

Terrible.

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

Good point, OP, but there's a huge difference between demonic manifestation and something like holy laughter. As you previously mentioned, you have to look at the fruit of it. Sometimes that takes time. When demons manifest in churches, that's where they can't hide their activities any longer. They're mighty vulnerable in God's presence and they want to escape. But yes, it's very important to test the spirits, to discern their words and deeds.

I have never seen anyone act like a dog or dance like the Hindus.

This is a very accurate statement. Couple this with...

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

One who knows scripture and can apply it to the circumstances in his life.
