[h=1]The Christmas Tree[/h]
Snowy branches
And leaves of green
The Christmas tree
Is being –seen
Lights twinkle in the –night
So, far Santa
Is out of –sight
Little children in their beds
Wrapped up tight
On a cold winter’s- night
In warm houses
Santa enters to leave his-cheer
For children- everywhere
Glowing fires, warm the houses
The children are cozy
As they dream of –gifts
Left from Santa
And his elves
Toy trucks and dolls
Are in there thoughts
As they see what Santa-brought
What excitement as they-wake
They hear on Rudolph, Donner and Blitzen
Up they bounced to see
What they were missing
Santa has left
The children were –smitten
