The Council of the Wise

Dancing on the mountain
In the Council of the Wise
You think that you are all alone
Dejected and despised

But I have words for you my friend
Directly to your heart
The Lord of Lord and King of Kings
Is with you from the start

The darkness closes in on you
And fear is floating in
But you must see that He is here
To lift you from within

You do not know what way to go
What path you must go down
But Jesus walks beside you, friend
He's given you a Crown

His arms are all around you
Even though you cannot see
That he'll be with you every day
Until eternity

Anointed to a mighty work
You will begin to see
And all of this, that you don't like
Will end your misery

The things that matter in your life
Are hard to reconcile
But look at Him and all His love
In the Council of the Wise


The sun is up, this day arrives
With glory all around
What way I go is in his hands
Was lost but now am found
