THE DEARLY DEPARTED
The anguish and grieving
A loss of a whole
Empty vessel
Weakness and despair
Heavy, heavy sadness
Remorse
Days feeling faint
Can’t eat
Sad, cruel world,
Why do we have to die?
An ending for our beginning,
That’s why
When we depart from this life, we are dead,
The dead know nothing,
Til judgment day,
Then we will be resurrected.
Judgment day,
Accounts of our life will be on display,
How our life was portrayed,
And in what particular way,
Everything will be open,
Even our secret sin,
Our life is a test,
No man can fathom the furthest lengths for redemption
We will all be judged as individuals
Love the Lord
For He, a righteous judge
And a loving lord,
And vengeance will be his
Belief will pass this test
Belief is faith,
And forgiveness is our redemption
And that’s what he wants
Accept this is a test and win
A life of beauty and no sin
Perfect euphoria
Where the hurting does not exist
And we shall live forever
Bliss no burdens
No aching back
Where love letters,
Will never be denied
And there will be no news
Of how the innocent have died
We will live in a perfect world,
We will be made perfect
For our perfect world
And we will never turn to dust.
