The light of the world has come to shine in the darkness, but because men loved their wicked ways, they cast the light aside. They thought if they hid the light that they would be safe from judgment, but even as they threw a dark shroud over the light, the light burst into flame and consumed the shroud and those who tried to hide it.
Soon all men will see the great and terrible day of The Lord. The light will be joy to those who believe and it will be a consuming fire to those who have tossed it aside as some trivial thing.
No one escapes death except through He who beat death. There is no other way. There is no other light with which by men can be saved than that which was born in a manger.
"For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish..." (Psalm 73:27)
But let those who rejoice in The Lord , say, "Whom have I in Heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" (Psalm 73:25-26)
