I was traveling along
I noticed stamps in my pocket
I pulled them out
id almost forgotten

what am I traveling with
more important, what do they say
What mark am I leaving
as I go throughout this day

I began reading each stamp
im not sure ive ever looked
but now here I am
Studying each one like a book

Approved and rejected
forgiven and rotten
loved and hated
known and forgotten
Wait and hurry
Come in and get out
quiet , whisper, even shout

I was horrified realizing
ive used every one
I never stopped to think about
ink marks ive left on some
looking back at their use
how uncareful ive been
marking like a beast
not realizing my own sin

Stamping this stamping that
Not realizing the mark ?
Was in my very own hand
no wonder I suffered
no wonder I didnt understand
The chip in my hand?
Is the form of a stamp
of everything ive labled
not once looking with care

let me tell you what happened
let me tell you what gods done
When I handed my stamps back?
He let me keep half ..
and replaced the others with new ones..

Now im traveling
with a new set of stamps
God even removed
the mark on my back
today im stamping
his good news
approved !!come in!!
HIS stamps of truth
