THE POWER OF GOD
God is so powerful and marvelous; and many of us do not know. We do not care to know about Him. We do whatever we want to do whether good or bad things. Jesus clearly said in His word that we are doing things wrongly because we neither know the scriptures nor the power of God.
When you know how powerful God is, you will no more doubt His word; you will no more be unfaithful to His word; you will trust in Him and believe in His word; and you will put His word in practice and in action in your life as you live on earth because His word is everything for your joy, prosperity, protection and whatsoever you need.
Let me show you a bit of how powerful God is. Look, everything on earth was created from the words which came out from God’s mouth. He said “let there be light and there was light; let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it separate the waters from the waters and it was so; let the earth bring living creatures according to it kinds and it was so as God commanded etc.
Again, look at when God called Abraham, he took nothing from his father Terah but God make him to become very rich. Look at when God make Joseph who was a prisoner to become a governor in Egypt. Look at when Moses divided the red sea into two and the children of Israel cross on foot. Look at when Jesus walk on the sea. Look at when Jesus healed all sickness and he raise the dead to life. Look at when God feed the children of Israel with manna from heaven and also when He feed Elijah in the desert. Look at when God save the miners in Chile after so many days under the ground etc. All these is just to show you a bit of how powerful God is.
Many of us do not know these because we do not know the scriptures; and if we do not know the scriptures then how can we know the power of God? We will never know the power of God when we do not know the scriptures. The scripture is God words and these words are God Himself. So, to know God and His power; you must know the scripture which is His words. You must also believe in the word and put it in practice in your life; and you will see and experience the power of God in your life.
