test everything by Scripture, but don't go looking in evil things, or forbidden things - like idols. since idolatry is forbidden, strictly forbidden, it is sinful to test various idols to see if they are sinful also - they all are already declared forbidden by yahweh

as you search /seek for yahweh the creator and his life, let him deal with all the sin and obstacles that hinder life. let him deal with everything his way, in his time, according to HIS WORD (always by HIS WORD)..

that's why there are so few in his kingdom --- they(we) have given up our life on earth to him, and now live under his kingdom/kingship/ HE IS KING - HE rules us now today and everyday on earth and in the world to come, all the time.

people don't hardly ever see this or hear it or seek it - as it is written, they continue instead in many devices/ in selfishness/ in deception under the prince of the power of the air(the devil).....

remember jesus' own disciples walked away from him (most of them) when his words got too hard FOR THEM --- how much more today for people who have never seen him, nor HIS WORD... and they believe not.
