(2 Corinthians 7:10) Taking every thought captive is the key to total victory. Scripture commands us to repent. Repenting is not necessarily BOOHOOING and CRYING, SNOTTING and SPITTING everywhere. I have seen a lot of people go through the emotional expressions of so-called repentance but never change. Once again they have fallen into the trap of wrong emotions based upon wrong thinking. Often when the Lord truly deals deeply with you, there is a great flood of emotions, including intense SORROW and REMORSE, for the sin in which you've been involved. But many people think that just because they experienced a flood tide of emotions, they have repented. We say they are BROKEN. Pastors get excited when they see this, church members rejoice, and the person under conviction feels like he is now right with God.
