This is what the Lord says:“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5

If you trust in men you are simple, you should be prudent and trust in the lord with all of your heart.

Yes yes yes, could we then believe, Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord Jesus who makes His arm the Holy Spirit who gives all his heart to the Lord!

But you have to trust in man. Because without man nobody would know about god would they.

But that has to be nonsense.

Man put gods word into print, man spreads the word of god, man converts other men to god.

If we are not to trust man then we cannot believe him when he tells us god exists.

Cos lets face the reality. The ONLY reason people believe in god is because they are introduced to him from MAN.

Without trusting man, you have no religion.

And that passage you quoted was
From Jeremiah... A MAN.

And by your logic I must instantly
Dismiss your comment and not believe you because it
Would be a curse to trust what you say.

Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.[

QUOTE=Need2Know;1107156]But you have to trust in man. Because without man nobody would know about god would they.[/QUOTE]
God is fully capable and not impotent. Had Adam only trusted in God alone...

What man gives apart from God are curses or short of eternal omnipotence, omnipotent life, light and love, what others give i.e. God through them is eternal and blessings forever, not so if man gives short of God or not any of God through man to mankind. All and any part of fallen man given to man is short of Him all of Him.

Yes, to trust is to feel secure to feel confident it will be repeated or given again. Can you believe and trust that any human can repeat what ever they gave you? Do you know you will be alive to receive or will they be alive to give to you again? The great principle is the word trust not to replace or interpose the word belief that one will receive from any mere man apart from God and then what is the quality of what you do receive of men is it not finite does it pass away with the use of it, we are meaning the quality of what God gives compared to what man gives. If man allows God to Give His essence His life His character His personality through them then it is God that we give this is what we strive to give by the Holy Spirit in us.

What about when it comes to Doctors and medicine? If we didn't have a good majority of it, we wouldn't go past our 30s still and lots of women would die giving birth. Not trying to debunk the quote, but we also came a long way to be where we are too. There has to be some sort of trust in that.

What about when they fail? Even in their greatest desires and intentions. Belief verses trust man does believe some things even if never experienced in what someone tells them but trust is to be confident of your life confidence with the inner assurance from the Holy Spirit in this subject of the eternal omnipotent Lover and creator of our lives God who deserves our trust in His Love which omnipotence no man has. Trust not, do not, be deceived to feel secure in any of man's ability for man does not and can not give you assurance of even prolonging healing or safety of your life. This is only: given, empowered, proven by God to us in the person of the resurrected omnipotent Lord of All Jesus.
