Hi I have Ubuntu on my netbook. When I click on to Christian Chat I always give permission to access my mic and and webcam. When I try to click on to the mic in the chat rooms it always says that I didn't give permission to have the mike. Can you teell me what might be going on?

It's been a while since i've used the mic feature in the chats. And being on Ubuntu i don't know if there will be any differences. But what i often had to do was right click the mic button and there were options given under there. This is where i wold turn on mic/webcam.
Also, make sure, before you enter the rooms, that you have 'high speed' on, as turning it to low speed turns off all cam abilities. And make sure the other two options are set right. By default they should all be on, but it's always good to double check.

If this doesn't help, then i hope someone more knowledgeable comes along with the right answer.

First I would make sure the webcam works (via "Cheese" program), If it does you may be in luck for compatibility with Ubuntu. If not see the trouble shooting guide:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Webcam/Troubleshooting

Same goes for sound, make sure it works via Sound & Video >> Sound Recorder for testing your microphone.

Once it has been established that all is in good working order, we can move on to the flash plugin -
To setup permissions and privacy for Adobe Flash see here:
https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help05.html

You should then be able to head over to Website Privacy Settings panel >> Always Allow christianchat.com
https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html#117645
Then you won't get that prompt anymore and it will always allow the setting.

In the future though, Christian Chat should totally move to HTML5. Flash is non-free, virus ridden, and so circa 1998! :D
