God the Father sent his son who was in the form of God, to the world to die for sinners like us. He was made a mortal, given all pains and worries, died for no reason of his.... Does that show God is cruel???/Of course not for us, because we are getting the benefit.
If it was you or me, whom God selected to be a sacrifice for the sins of the world, do u think we wud have obeyed God???

There are so many verses in the Old testament which shows God's MERCY over Israel, though they were sinning to the core. What about that??
Ezk 33:11 Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
God has got a master plan, he will work according to that only... This life we live in this world is not the last one. This is just a trial part. a training session. We live for how long 70-80 years. But their we will live for eternity. Their will be some reason for God to take such a decision, which we will not understand. We look only the present, but God knows our future.
Ec 3:1 . To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
