Yes, one must obey no matter the cost - especially if you hear a word of direction from the Holy Spirit. Thank you God for speaking to us! It is a real blessing to not be bogged down with the strife and distraction my ex brought and has brought me closer to God.
Agreed about the "the Lord Rebuke You Satan in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Either drown in your alcohol or be Saved by accepting God." Amazingly this person thinks they are a Christian living that way. I am not going to call him out because of the strifeful nature as I have tried gently and was totally made to look like the bad guy, but it is up to our precious sinless lamb Judge Jesus who was given all power and authority in the earth.
