1 Scripture states the little horn will blaspheme God and his temple (the abomination of desolation)

2. Scripture states he will conquer and rule for 3 1/2 years

3. Jesus himself states, this time immediately following will be a time of great tribulation. which will be stopped only by his return.

If tribulation is started at abomination, And the Little horn is the one who abominates. And his time is said to be for only 3.5 years, which will be ended by Christ himself. then it is 3.5 years..

You aree telling me what you believe, but not showing me scripture for your convictions. For instance . . .

1. Which little horn are we talking about because there are two in Daniel, the first in 7:8 (he comes out of Rome) and the second in 8:9 (he comes out of the Middle East). However, neither of them is directly linked in text to the Abomination that Maketh Desolate, which does not appear in Scripture until 11:31 and 12:11.

2. What verse shows either little horn ruling anywhere for 3 1/2 years?

3. Not exactly. Scripture shows the following. . .

Matthew 24:21 ​
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”​

Matthew 24:29 ​
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened (Mal 4:2) and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars (Rev 1:20) shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.”​

So there is going to be time AFTER the tribulation, but before the saints are taken to the Lord . . .

Matthew 24:31 ​
“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

Chapters 1-6 are historical while 7-12 are prophetic.

So how do you know "the abomination that maketh desolate" isn't the Islamic Dome of the Rock that is now trespassing on God's temple mount?

And since millions of both Christians and Jews have been murdered during the Christian era, how do you know the tribulation hasn't been ongoing since Steven was stoned?

More properly, Chapters 2-7 are written Chaldee, while 8-12 were written in Hebrew, because the book had two audiences. 2-7 was to the Gentile nations who would control the Holy Land during the time of the Gentiles. 8-12 was to the Jews to tell them of their future during that same time of the Gentiles.
