Hello CC.
Cyphercat here presenting himself entirely!
I really have nothing in this world except my daughter.
I don't look at porn, I don't torrent files, I don't teach her any habits that could harm her.
I read the bible to her, I pray with her.
I'm with her every second of the day.
I am on disability. I live with my parents.
When my daughter is not here I have nothing but free time.
I'm thinking about going house to house and just talking to people about Jesus Christ.
Maybe it could lead to a real ministry.

I also like writing music. I'm working on an album that I want to release here at CC exclusively.

It is wonderful to see someone so dedicated to the Lord. I am so happy that you are raising your daughter with Christian values. I think it would be wonderful to talk to people about Jesus, there are so many people that may have questions and do not know who to talk to or are afraid to ask questions to the people they know. Opening yourself up to them could be really great. Don't let the rude people get you down, they need our prayers.

I cannot wait to hear some of your music. I have no musical talent at all so I enjoy hearing others with the gift of music.

God Bless and thank you for sharing. I love your positive attitude:)

Cypher - brother I love your convictions and I wholeheartedly approve of them!

Are you able to serve in any ministries during the day? If thee is anything we know, there is a world full of need out there. As far as door-to-door, I think it is way too confrontational. People's homes are their havens, their sanctuaries. Couple that with the Jehovah's Witness and you're likely to be painted as a fanatic or nuts, probably not good for you or them. But serving with head, heart, hands in a ministry--there's worth in this type of worship.

--- please don't take my door2door comment the wrong way. I'm just giving you another perspective on that idea, but that doesn't make what I say anything more than something to consider ---

Do you listen to any teachers? Darrin Patrick, the Head pastor of Journey church in St. Louis and VP of Acts 29, just published a book titled "The Dudes guide to Manhood". I just bought it on my kindle app. I'd totally be up for an online group to read a book together online...discuss it in a thread. That'd be sweet. Or, have you checked out biblical training.org. You can take classes online, with professors like Dr. Bruce Ware, Dr. Bill Mounce, John Piper...many more...it is so good, so check it out.

Hold to those convictions brother. The more we give to God, the more He gives to us.

You will do what you do (or what GOD leads you to). But one thing:

She needs to grow.

Allow me to tell you this. I have a daughter (Joy). She is a teenager now. She wants to be alone and, when she comes near, it is -often- to get some money of me.

I was so dear, so kind and clung to her, but her mind changed... What if this happens to many loving parents like us?

I wish you could read the "poetry" I once wrote for her, when she was too little. I wrote anything I name a "mary goes round" Anything like that... It was love what I felt for her, but she needs to find her own life (so you too).

That may hurt you! (it hurt me to see how she left me to be in the company of HER friends) (I have just but a few and really don need but ONLY one: If GOD wills).

So you'd better work your way with Jesus, He will bring to you all that is needed and, of course, she will come to join you on that way.

You know, I think about this often.
I'm with her every second of the day, and I don't get any time to myself when she's around. She's 7.
I'm going to get her into Sunday School.
My hope is that she'll see what I'm doing and want to get involved. Especially in ministry.
I'm not really letting her off into the world. Thankfully God has brought her back, and the bible and Christ is becoming more a part of her life.
I have a feeling she'll stick around.
But if she goes her own way I'm ready for that too.

Good! You are her leader and, your example, will lead her to HIM (and to you).

By 2012 I took Joy to a mall. When we jumped at the mechanic stair way, I felt the need to hug her (perhaps missing that relation I had with a woman I used to go there).

At the touching of my arms, she asked me not to hugged her (and those days she used to hug me at my children's house). What was wrong? That I needed to hug when I missed someone who was absent?

I asked my daughter: "Whatś wrong with you?". She didn't say it, but I knew she didn like to be seen hugged by a man of my age (just to avoid those who looked at her felt discouraged to give her a blink of the eyes) but that experience removed me from those strings I needed to cut to let her grow the way she thinks.

This sort of thing is easier with church support, is there a program in a nearby church like Evangelism Explosion?

Depending on your disability, it might be easier to witness online. Check the various websites, cruise around until you fine one that is a good fit.

Consider getting a counseling degree. Evangelism goes hand-in-hand with discipleship, helping people deal with their issues is sometimes counterintuitive.

I will consider your advice :).
Often times I let the imminence of the Lord's return let me think that I hastily have to just go and tell everyone until I drop dead from exhaustion, but even Jesus just walked everywhere, and simply talked to people as he came to them.
Yes, it is good to consider long term programs.
I think I am going to first join a local church, and get involved in a program there.
Witness where the opportunity presents itself in a peaceable manner, and be happy knowing I did my part.
Thanks!

I think that the greatest thing in our lives is to be there where the Lord wants us to be and to work with Him for His Kingdom - doing that way we will feel so cool and on the other hand the greatest honor for a person is to serve the King of all kings
