I don't know if there was already a thread like this, but just wondering. How do we respond to one of the most sensitive issues in today's world "Abortion"? Is there an outright "Yes or NO" to this question, Now abortion happens due to alot of bad reasons (or bad decisions). But how do we perceive it when it happens due to

1) Medical emergency, a situation where the mother's life and the unborn child's life are in danger, and the only way to save the mother's life is to abort the foetus (Keeping in mind, the mother is not for abortion, but no option left)?

2) When its due to sexual abuse or rape. We are looking at two situations, One being that the individual is traumatized to an extent she is not mentally or physically in a state to undergo pregnancy and delivery, OR the consequent feeling she might have after the delivery (a result of rape)?

Anytime an abortion is being considered for medical emergency reasons I would say that's a private health issue between the patient and a physician. When abortions are being performed out of convenience or a change of mind that's called murder.
