Where is the God of Elijah?i

Where is this so called God of Elijah?

The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob?

Is he soundly asleep in the heavens?

Is he hiding in the depths of the ocean or in the stars above?

I've ran to and fro, here and there, searched every nook and cranny, but to no avail.

Why does the God of Elijah continue to elude me and hide himself from me?

My doubts grow stronger and my spirit grows faint.

My soul yearns for Immanuel, but cannot find him.

My eyes grow heavy like bags of sand searching, my ears go deaf trying to hear a word, my feet grow weary from the

distance.

Where is the God of Elijah?

I pray but there is no response.

I fast but there is no reply.

The oil to my lamp has almost gone dry.

I shield my flame with my hands trying to prevent its death, for even the smallest gust of wind can extinguish it.
