While I won't say snopes got this one wrong,I haven't researched this myself,I find they lean liberal at times,JMO

Vengeance is mine saith the Lord I will repay is in the Bible for a reason. He will deal with them all. We stay gracious and forgiving and free from unforgiveness and offense. By His leading and love in our hearts. Only with Him do we have the victory. The war is won forever and we are on the winning side. God fights for us still.
