The 7 Feasts (Lev 23) of the Lord govern scriptural events & time lines. The Feasts were planned, written & fixed. Before the sun, moon & heavens were set as acting witness's to God plan.

Lev 23:
26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
(NOTE: Convocation = Rehesrsal - Strongs 4744)

Colossians 2:17 The OT sacrifices, were are a shadow/rehearsal of the things that were to come

Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement and the sacrifices made were a forshadowing/Rehesrsal of the coming Messiah.

Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
(NOTE: Animal sacrifices could only cover - NOT REMOVE sin. And had to be repeated daily)

John 1:29 John the Baptist sees Jesus coming and says, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world
(NOTE: Takes away/removes sin)

Hebrews 9:28 (A) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many. also see Rom 6:10 & 1 Pet 3:18.
(NOTE: Jesus sacrifice takes away/removes sin, FOREVER)

Romans 6:23 The wage for sin is death

Jesus sinless atoning sacrifice paid. IN FULL, the Law's required sin wage, of death.

Faith placed in the Sin Atoning Sacrifice: Found in the Death(sins wage paid in full), Burial & Resurrection(Gods receipt, payment received & accepted). Is our only needed sacrifice for sins permanent removal & a full pardon.

Jesus was offered ONCE for ALL (Hebrews 10:1–10).

Matthew 27:51 Jesus death removed the Temple veil (Matt 27:51 & Mark 15;38) & opened up, for us direct access to "Holy of Holies = God's Presents" (Hebrews 4:19–20)

We can now freely enter God’s presence and offer our "sacrifice's of praise & thanks giving" (Hebrews 13:15, 9:11–28, 4:14—5:10).

Once every 50 years on this day, Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement, the trumpet is blown announcing the Year of Jubilee.

Lev 25:

9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the 10th day of the 7th month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
(NOTE: In Hebrew Jubilee literally means “ram’s horn” I.E, Shofar/Trumpit)

10 Ye shall hallow the 50th year & proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you & ye shall return every man unto his possession & ye shall return every man unto his family.

(NOTE: Year of Jubilee = the release from indebtedness (Lev 25:23-38) & all types of bondage (Lev 25:39-55). All prisoners & captives were set free, all slaves were released, all debts were forgiven, all property was returned to its original owners. All labor was to cease for 1 year anyone bound by labor contracts were released from them. Throughout the Jubilee Yrboth the land & the people were able to rest.
