It isn't just you. It does happen from time to time, though I'm not sure what causes it. Typically, if you log out, clear your browser's cookies, close the browser (ends your session), and then head back to the site, there's a chance you'll be out of the chat room.
Unfortunately if that does not work, then a moderator or administrator will have to clear it up for you. Sad day playing the waiting game when that happens.

For SOME people, Chrome, Firefox, and/ or IE do not work well on here..Something to do with the adobe flash plug-in crashing. I use Opera and have no problems at all on here. From time to time, this site goes wonky, and I have to do multiple sign-ins. I think it's a glitch in the system. We usually just blame it on the minkey.. Not sure what a minkey is, but that's who we blame..lol Also, ppl's names get stuck when they enter/leave a room too fast.

It's a glitch in the chats. Sometimes it fixes itself. But other times it requires waiting for Robo to reboot the servers. He has a set schedule he does this on and will not do it just to fix this issue for someone. Mods can try to 'boot' you from the room, but, from what i understand, more often than not it doesn't fix the problem.
It's not a browser issue, it's on the server side.
Typically if it happens they make you wait. But i know under some conditions they allow people to make a temporary new account until their name clears. I'm not sure what exactly the parameters are that they allow this under.
