You do not need to have a Paypal account in order to donate. When you click on the "donate" button it goes to a Paypal page because this site's donations are processed through Paypal.

Last night I 'think' a solution / idea came to me that I can get a credit card [mastercard] at the pharmacy I go to and put what I want on it and Then use it online here. Is that correct? I'm a dumb bunny with these type things, admittedly. I've been a cash only person but this idea did seem safe to me - if it's a doer.

Yes, you can do that. pay as you go type credit cards work the same as a regular card and the payment would be done in much the same way. All of our online donations are processed through pay pal, but you can use any credit card or debit card to do it.
