Click on the tick box next to "Report" (top right corner of each message), then scroll down to find the "Moderation Tools" drop down menu. Click on that and select "Delete Messages," then click on "Proceed."

I tried to delete a Scripture I posted on my profile as a test, but the post still remains, it just says "deleted" there is no content but it's still there, if I make any sense. The same is going on in groups, I tried to open a group to study Bible together and when I found that it's very hard to post (with the current char limit, you can just post a few Scriptures within that scope - it's kind of impossible to have any real conversations). So I deleted that thread wanting to upload a document and share it instead of million fragments. But now the messages are still there, the little rectangles, just the content is lost. Same on picture comments. If I am deleting something, why should I see the remnant of it afterwards. Is there a way to do this? The current way to delete it is imo very cluttering...

I get the same "this message has been deleted" filler. It looks like the entry is not completely wiped away, just the content is replaced with a confirmation of deletion. That seems to be the system we have to work with, SW.

Thanks, I just wondered if there was maybe an option for normal deletion for supporters or something... or maybe if a bigger char limit in group discussion was available. Clutter drives me nuts, I'm a neat freak, so I'd rather not post in these areas then lol.

go to your visitor messages page, and there should be a check box on the right of each message. Put a check in the box and then scroll down to "moderation tools". Click on that and check off the circle next to "delete." Then click the "proceed" button and you're done. Then refresh the page to see the changes. :)

Yeah but the post remains... what Siberian commented on. It deletes the message but the rectangle of the post stays it just says that the message is deleted. So I just wont be posting there because I am not able to keep it orderly...

Yeah it does and the thing is dont want it to say that... I want it to not be there, lol... that's just me, I like things to be neat. I'm not demanding such option of course, if I would I would be a jerk.
The site owners are providing plenty of ability for us to write on the forum and in PM, that is a LOT and I am thankful for it. If these few areas dont work as I'd like them to, that really doesnt matter. I only wondered if there was any option to do this.

Only some Moderators and Administrators have the ability to delete forum posts, blog entries, etc and leave no trace of the information.

I think she was referring to the visitor messages that people leave us. :)
