Why cant I multi quote?

:confused: something I have never been able to do is multi quote. like say there are several points in a point i would like to address I see a chat box thing near the number symbol where you when you are typing you have the option for smiley faces font color ect but it never seems to work righ it like this
I love God
what am I doing wrong?

If you are attempting to quote multiple posts in one reply you need to click on the icon circled in red for each post you wish to quote and then click on the "reply with quote" for the last post the forum allows for up to three posts to be quoted in single reply.

If you are wanting to break a single quoted post into multiple pieces in order to respond point by point it's a bit more complex.

When you look at a quoted post in the reply box it looks like this

You then copy and past the highlighted commands to break it into pieces

and then insert your response to each section

and the finished posted product will look like this

The multiquote feature that Oncefallen is the most straightforward. You can also type out the code:

[ quote=username ]message[ /quote ]

You would simply leave out the spaces I have in the brackets. Note that if you do it this way, however, the little white arrows inside of the small blue box, next to the username inside of the quote bubble, will not direct people to the quote when clicked on (hopefully that makes sense).

Umm I think its to complex for me plus im using my x box to be online so it cant do a lot of stuff a pc can

Blain, when you try to multi quote, do you push that little quotation mark button with the plus sign beside it? The one that's circled in the first picture Oncefallen posted? Or are you doing something different?
