I finally figured out how to open up Windows 7 screens to be full size every time. If you have this problem, PM me.

Why not post what you figured out here? I'm actually quite interested to know (I had responded to your inquiry in another thread with a couple of suggestions but didn't hear back).

Open up new, full size screens in Windows 7

Do you find that your Windows 7 screens often open up to small sized views? There is a very easy fix.
You will need to open only two windows, and then close them. That’s all. But it has to be done in a very specific manner.

First, open up an internet link (It is important that you choose a link that also has another link inside that view that you can open as your second window.)

When the first window opens, <RESIZE> it by using your mouse to drag the edges around to where you want them to be. DO NOT USE THE <MAXIMIZE> button at the top right of your screen… use your mouse ONLY.

Now, using the RIGHT mouse button, open another link from somewhere on that window that is already open… by choosing the option “open in a new window”. (Doesn’t matter what you happen to select… just open another link.) Remember, you are NOT using the LEFT mouse button.

Resize this second window exactly the same way you did the first window, by using your mouse to drag the edges around to where you want them to be. DO NOT USE THE <MAXIMIZE> button at the top right of your screen… use your mouse ONLY.

This is the last step:

Place your mouse over the “open internet sites” icon down on the bottom toolbar.
Both open windows should show up in little windows down there.

Close the first one that you opened earlier.
Now close the second one.

You are done. All successive windows should now open to a full screen view. (Various new programs may open small, but you should be able to resize them as they appear.)
