Ive seen enough of the site to see that it isnt building me up or supporting me in my faith.

i dont have the time to get in the "in" group and every other thread is non-christians.

who are the mods?

Tankman please don't delete your account....No one said you could not take a vacation from CC just rest a while away and then come back later and pick up where you left off.... No need to delete your account.....

You will never find people to agree with one another all the time here on earth.... Maybe in the New Earth with Jesus as our King, but no matter where you go in life the people stay the same the names and the faces change but the people stay the same.....

Hope you will decide to just take a break.....

You have got to realise the teaching in the church is only as good as the people who are prepared to stand up and teach.
Taking responsibility for what you have been given matters. It is hard to see how the discussion is going, but the basic primary drive to love your brothers and sisters is to give as you are able.

And I know it really does make a difference to shine you light, because without the light there is only darkness, so take a break, refresh yourself and then understand it is a real spiritual warfare out there, as expressed here.

Tankman, please don't leave.. I know the contention and strife in the bible forum scares off alot of newbies here. They're not used to the level of abuse that happens in there.. I very rarely venture in there myself.

There are alot of excellent people here. Please don't judge all of us by the ones in the bible forum who CALL themselves christian, but don't ACT christian. I really hope you decide to stay. Maybe just avoid the bible forum for awhile.. :)

I take breaks as needed. Or just don't go into the BDF for a while. There is lots of ministry to be done in the Family Forum, the Prayer Forum and other forums. The Singles Forum is lots of fun, and they don't care if you are not single.

You will be missed, although I do understand your frustration. Keeping you in prayer!

Can I just say that people who have been here far longer and are on regularly will naturally be closer to each other and battle-worn than those who are new or relatively or only occasionally visit the forums. You can't expect to have a great rapport here until you've been here awhile. It just takes time. I was here for several days before people even said "Hi" to me. There's hope. Stick around a little longer.

Can I just say that people who have been here far longer and are on regularly will naturally be closer to each other than to those who are new or relatively or only occasionally visit the forums. That's just human nature. You can't expect to have a great rapport here until you've been here awhile. It just takes time. I was here for several days before people even said "Hi" to me. There's hope. Stick around a little longer.

As for why some of us get shirty with some here it's because we're battle-worn from the crap we've put up with (some of us for a couple years or more). Unfortunately we've been kicked one too many times (this isn't in relation to you, but to some others here). I'm not saying this to excuse such things, but to give some semblance of understanding.

Finally, there are many types of people here. Some have serious mental issues, some are truthful but mean, some are loving and truthful, some are earnest but don't have a clue, some are Christians, some pretend to be Christians, some are non-Christians, some promote other religions, some people spam forums, some condemn anyone and anything, some people come here to rant, some come here to teach and learn, some simply come here to teach, some come for fun, others because they're bored, lonely, have issues. We have all types here.

You know some of us agree strongly on certain issues and disagree just as strongly on others...I try to see the Jesus in all the people here who have Him in them...and many truly do. I see Gods people above the other things that my flesh would want me to see. Yes its cool to have a place like this to chat about things we believe, but I think we all can use a break from time to time when things start to frustrate us and we lose sight that its really about Jesus and those that belong to Him.
