I've noticed that if I upload some pictures from my computer into a post, then I use the "Go Advanced" option and remove one of the images there, the [removed] image still shows up when I post - except it shows up as an "attached image." When I edit the post to try to remove said image, it's nowhere to be found, but still shows up when I finalize the post.

I don't use the advanced image tool - or whatever it's called - that CC/vBulletin offers.

Thoughts?

I'll post a tutorial when I get home. There's a couple of steps to removing an attached image.

To remove an attached image, click the "edit post" as usual, once you've done this scroll down a little bit and you'll see additional options which includes attachment management. Click on the "manage attachments" tab.

This will open a separate window and any attached images in that post will be across the bottom. Click the box in the lower left of the attachment you wish to delete, and as you hover the cursor over that box you will see an "X" in the upper right corner of that attachment. Click the "X" and it will delete.

PS. If you haven't already finalized the post the steps are the same you just don't need to click the "edit post" button. Just scroll down a little bit and you will see the same options.

Thanks Once!

Is it common for pictures to show up as attached after removing them from the post? Not sure if that's on CC's end or mine.

It's a vBulletin thing, unless the actual attached file is deleted the image will continue to show no matter how many times you delete the image from the post.

Believe me, when I was an Admin I almost went batty the first couple of times I had to delete an image from someone's post.
