How do you find a specific post written by a specific person regarding a specific quote? I tried to use the Advance Search option but it's very confusing to me. I typed in the op's name, the specific quote subject, and clicked on "forum" & "posts". But I get absolutely no search results. What gives?

Go to their profile, click "find latest posts/threads" and look for it. :)

Lady Blue, what if the person is not a member here anymore and listed only as a guest? There's no search for a guest's posts, is there?

Hmmm, I dunno. I usually just type in their name.. like if I typed in VioletReigns, I'd find old posts of yours. :)

You were probably too specific. The sites search function isn't great. Try entering the same things into google. And maybe add christianchat.com as part of the search as well.

Find a searh engine (yahoo, google ... whatever)

Type this in the searchbar

site: christianchat.com

and add what you are looking for , ie

site: christianchat.com HELP

it will return christiancat.com results only

dunno how efficient it is at finding posts by a given user though
