Seems the MP3 player battles are past. You don't often hear people talk about them anymore. I think people are switching more to phones now, for their music. iPod has always had a good reputation. Though they are a bit pricey and there are a few versions to pick from. Some are all touch screen, some not. Some are wireless internet capable that lets you connect to iTunes to purchase music, some require a computer to load songs through the cable.
Often times, for such things, searching through Amazon and looking at customer comments on products can be a help. You can find which have a consistent problem or which get a lot of positive feedback. Lets you compare prices (at least for their site). Same for the speakers. There are all sorts of options there.
Good afternoon Beautiful
(Im not flattering you) Im just really uncomfortable with calling you Ugly.
And I checked, the pages are still doing that flash strobe thing so it wasnt the cord (and yes it is a desktop) I had forgotten to answer you on that.
Yeah I figured the MP3's were older, thank you for replying on that also.
Im typically just fine with old stuff (I actually prefer it) I just didnt want one of those newer phones that do everything.
I saw a video someone posted where one was hacked and being controlled by another while they recorded the happening and I am just really uncomfortable with alot of the technology out there to be perfectly honest with you.
It becomes fustrating because something as small (such as a mouse) might not be compatible with the newer things and so if you prefer the older way of things over the newer more advanced will basically get you left in the dark to some of the simpler things you enjoy (like listening music).
I would like to be able to buy digital music without having to get one of these "intellectual phones" because I dont find them to be all that smart a choice.
Speaking of opting out, I even tried to buy my puter without a webcam because of those being hacked and I couldnt.
I told him, I'll pay you to remove it, and he said you can disable it, but I dont want the install itself, but he told me he couldnt do that, and that I will just put black electrical tape over it. It just really bugs me that I cant opt out of more advanced things, and in the case of music without needing to get out of the more simpler things.
I wonder if it will break the puter to stab that eye thing?
(nothing against peeking eyes) when they are invited, but Im not into this one LOL
I still have a working casette player by the way, I listen to my grandmother play piano on it, she was a remarkable pianist. So Im hoping that doesnt die anytime soon.
My husband broke a piece off my ancient model flip phone so I think I will be needing a new one sooner, but I think I will just reactivate my landline and go without a cell phone altogether.
I just wanted to download a bunch of digital music (many hours worth) and store it offline and play it without streaming and without needing these other popular devices, and just able to play it without much else, thats why I thought, MP3 might work for me. I spent most of the evening at Amazon trying to decide, I couldnt.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated, its great to be able to drop in here and get some advice, glad for this board.
God bless you Beautiful
