Had this problem for like a year now and it's frustrating. Not sure if others are having issues or not. Made some progress resolving it though.

I was messing around with the address bar to see if any of the options that were enabled on it were causing the problem and they aren't. What IS causing the problem is weird.

To fix it, try and connect to the YouTube room like always and the chat window will pop up as a new window but the room won't load. You will see John 3:16 from bible gateway on the right, no chat members and no microphone icon. Click the address bar at the top and copy the text with ctrl+c. Close the window. Open a new tab in Firefox and paste the address with ctrl+v. Before hitting enter or clicking the go symbol, change "YouTube" after "&room=" to "youtube". Just make it so the Y and T aren't capitalized.

It's a weird fix but the room should load now, but the YouTube plugin won't work so you won't be able to see videos. Not sure why the capitalization of the words would cause this problem, but apparently it does. The only problem is that the videos won't load, maybe because the pop up window is required to load the plugins, and in the regular browser it doesn't load them.

Maybe if the links from the main CC page were changed so that it links to &page=youtube instead of &page=YouTube, the popup window would work correctly for Firefox users having an issue and they can enjoy the videos as well as chat.

The same fix works for sermontube as well. Just make sure the S and T aren't capitalized.

This may be a non-issue for most people, but I only use Firefox, so this is a problem.

I thought maybe my plugins were causing the problem, but I disabled them all and still the same issue. It's just Firefox in general I think. Maybe it could be something in my Firefox settings though. I dunno. Is anyone else having this issue with Firefox or is it just me?
