I've unfortunately had to put someone on my ignore list, but I keep seeing their posts.
What can I do about that?

Make sure that you've spelled their name correctly when putting them on ignore. If they are on ignore, then you shouldn't be able to see their posts unless you click on "view post".

Keep your eyes closed, I'm seriously considering it myself:)

Thanks, I'll double check. With my vision problem that's probably the reason.

To be clear, I'm not ignoring them because we disagree, it's that they keep regurgitating the same response to every post regardless of the subject of the thread and I don't care to waste time reading them.

Did you ignore them in chat? If so it doesn't affect the forum

Go to their profile and select add to ignore list
you will see their posts if they are quoted anyway

I don't know. You can only see them when they respond to other's, is that correct? It's probably widely known that I have put people on the list but immediately take them off because I'm nosy.

I use the ignore feature to avoid watching "reruns" over and over that bring nothing new to the discussion. If I "ignored" everyone that disagrees with me there'd be no posts to read! ;)

Yes cc would be pretty boring. I did put a pervert on ignore but he was banned so I don't see his posts.

I was in the process of ignoring one person but they were banned before I got to it.

If a person quotes the one you have on ignore you will see the quoted version. There is no way to ignore someone quoting that person. If that's the case just don't read it n

Yes, I'm aware of that. It's just quicker to scroll past a quote.

By the way, is CBS your favorite broadcaster? :D
