Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone was having issues replying to forum posts and using the spacebar.
My spacebar works fine in all other programs, but when I "reply to post" many times i'm forced to exit out of my browser to be able to add spaces into my posts. Sometimes the problem persists as well through browser restarts. Maybe it's a chrome glitch lol.

Cinder was saying the same thing in the "Ask the user below you a question" thread in the singles forum. Might be related?

I think I found a temporary way to solve the issue.

When you reply to the post and proceed to post under the quoted text, the issue rears its head. When you post before the quoted text, the spacebar works correctly. Now I know this will be hard to follow as we naturally want to read the original point and then reply, but until this issue is fixed for those of us who have it, this may be a temporary solution.

gonna be a mess if people start posting in the posts of others

i'm having the same problem for the last couple days intermittently.

never a problem on the 'advanced' reply page, and my spacebar certainly works. at the same time this started, all fonts on every webpage look a little funny.

i hadn't made any changes to anything -- it just worked fine in the morning, went to work, was all wonky when i came home.

This is interesting. It's not showing up here.
It works fine if you're replying to a one-sentence post. Otherwise you need to post your reply, then hit enter to push the reply of the person you're responding to, down the page.

if you reply to a post, do it over the quote and the space bar works fine. The copy it an paste it under the quote. It works 50% of the time for me and it don't matter what keyboard I'm using.

Yes it's an ongoing problem for me, it's OK until I want to begin a new paragraph so I just continue typing the same paragraph and then bring it down when I've finished typing - works for me that way. At first I thought there was a problem with my space bar.

I recently had the same issues that others had of their keyboard space bar not working on CC replies along with other keys. I checked my usb keyboard and it works on other computers fine, so I looked at my browser which I updated a few days ago and that's when I found the issue. I use Yandex browser ( a chrome/opera derivative) and when you update the browser it has adobe flash and java within the .exe install file and overwrites the old browsers adobe and java files.....The programmers however have not addressed this issue and there seems to be a bug where the adobe flash/java doesn't recognize the spacebar......

The solution that worked for me was to uninstall the browser (keep settings, bookmarks), restart the computer then reinstall my browser....and the spacebar bug is now gone....
it has to do with adobe flash/java having a bug that does not go away by simply updating the browser but by reinstalling it I think it clears the cache....hope this may help!

Steps:

1. uninstall the browser but save your bookmarks, passwords, settings and do a basic uninstall
2. restart your computer
3. reinstall the browser
4. try out on CC and the spacebar/other key letters should work.....
