I'm so happy. Ever since I started using W-10, I have had to deal with these stupid, but usually pretty or interesting, pictures and click on "OWNER" to get to my desktop. Then I had a problem getting on the internet and stupidly joined Microsoft (Something) which said that would end my problem. A couple of days later either it did fix it, or it was fixed on it's own, but in joining this Microsoft thing I set up a login password and no one seemed to have a fix for it. Some said to use Netplw2, or something like that, and although I saw that it worked for some people it didn't for me. I noodled around and found a nice fix that got rid of the pictures and the place to enter a password. It felt so good to have it work like Windows 7 used to, I thought I would let everyone know how to do it.
Left click: START, type in: password, click on: SETTINGS(there is a little arrow pointing to the right on mine), click on: Sign in options(at top of page), click on the arrow in the box and instead of: When PC wakes up from sleep, select: Never
Done.
I love it.
