Hi,

New here.

It seems impossible to copy and paste Youtube videos and images from Google. The "settings" on here seem correct to me.

Anyone else with the same problem?

Any ideas on how to resolve it?

Thanks!

I fear the structure of this forum is slowly disintegrating. Just last week it became impossible for me to play any videos here. They are now just black boxes of nothingness.

I've never been able to copy and paste videos. I have to download them to my computer, then upload them using the 'insert video' icon/link

Right, what Blue said. :) I tried once and was using bing as my search engine. When I copied and pasted that didn't work. You have to copy from the source wich is youtube or whatever other source you have like Godtv, etc.

So copy your link and the video link you paste it into is in the tools heading of your post where you have the choice to change the fonts .....keep looking to the right and you'll find the second to the last tool is where you can imbed a video in your post.

Click on it and paste the link there in the box and hit ok. That should work.

Hi Desertsrose

I just tried this but all I get is the URL address.

Here, I'll do it right now. There's that icon up in tools that looks like film, I'm going to click on it, and then paste the URL address in that box and then click OK...

Let's see if an image from Google would work, using the image icon...

Oooh!!!

THE IMAGE WORKED!!

I still can't get anything from youtube onto here except the URL.
Maybe I'll have to be happy with that?

THANKS SO MUCH DESERTSROSE!!

Could it be a browser issue?

No Magenta.
But all black is an improvement from nothing!

If you have any other ideas, let me know. I used the film icon like Desertsrose said, up on the tool bar.

Thanks!

Are you using a phone/tablet? That may be the issue as well. Are you using the mobile version of the site or the full? Often times the mobile version is more limiting. Scrolling to the bottom and finding the link to the full site may bring about better results.

Hi Ugly,
Stop winking at all the girls!

No. I use my computer. It's really difficult to use a mobile device.
I'm a chatterbox and we just couldn't get along!

But thanks.

(I think pictures are different from images and youtube??)
Have you tried left clicking stuff instead of right clicking.
Sometimes that makes a difference.

I've tried EVERYTHING. Others are having the same problem.
